Wedding Photography As a Gift?Table of Contents
Who photographs me ... ?For Sensual photography it is always Kim. Sometimes the need arises for an assistant and if that's the case, it would also be a woman. For weddings: Everything we do is digital, put on line and coffee table albums are the norm. Unfortunately Kim is not always available and although she tries to accommodate everyone, this is impossible. We have highly competent staff photographers. They have all been trained using the same equipment so that consistency is the rule. If you absolutely must have Kim, you may want to book her well in advance and consider the additional charge for retaining her. With all other types of photography, whether it's children, family or business/executive portraits, most is done by Kim or supervised by her. Back to TopWhat about hair and make-up ... ?It's been our experience that most women know how to make themselves look good. They should do their hair and make-up as though they are going somewhere special. They shouldn't "over do it" however, and we do have a salon that does hair and make-up within a 1 mile of our studio that is available and you may want to check them out at www.dlaudatisalon.com for anything from professional hair coloring to make-up. Hair & make-up for a photo session is priced from $95.00 and up depending on hair length, skin type, etc. (Gratuity not included.)

Back to TopDo I bring my own clothes ... ?For Sensual photos, if you have lingerie, bring the ones you know you look good in, especially if your husband or boyfriend gave you any of the items-they'll want to see it on you! Unfortunately, we do not provide lingerie, since it is a highly personalized clothing item. However, there are many "looks" that do not require lingerie. For Models, bring your own outfits. We will consult with you regarding your particular "looks" based on age and style you are trying to portray. Back to TopHow long does everything take ... ?You will receive a proof CD from any portrait session to take home for previewing and ordering. Sessions can last up to two hours depending on what your photographic needs are. Photos are generally back within a week after you order. Wedding proofs are on line for viewing within two weeks and albums 6-8 weeks after design is completed. Back to TopWhat can I expect during the photo session ... ?Calling for information starts the consultation process when the appointment is set. When you come in with your items to wear, we look at more photos deciding on what "looks" you are going for. We make a list of all "looks" numbering each look in the order we will shoot. You then will have a sense of which direction you are going, confidence and hopefully, trust. During the actual photo session, we will coach you through each pose, relaxing you and bringing out your best features. We look for problem areas, hide them and accentuate your positive attributes.
